Reese Erlich Discusses Arab Spring at South Dakota State University

On September 11, 2012, veteran journalist Reese Erlich took the stage at South Dakota State University with a lecture titled "Arab Spring from Syria to Egypt and Gaza." The basis for his lecture: his Pulitzer Center-supported reporting project exploring the 2010-2011 uprisings across the Arab world and his experiences reporting from the Middle East to enhance the audience's understanding of the events surrounding the Arab Spring. During his time on campus, Erlich also visited classrooms to lead more intimate discussions on the topic. Erlich's visit marked the official kick-off for the Campus Consortium partnership between SDSU and the Pulitzer Center.
