Advanced Search Available on the Pulitzer Center Lesson Builder

Have you ever wanted to search the Lesson Builder for middle school lessons or for lessons about the environment? Now you can with the new advanced search options on the Pulitzer Center Lesson Builder. The advanced search allows educators to filter lessons by grade level, subject, issue, tag, country, region, author, and publication date.

For example if you wanted to find high school lessons on conflict in the Middle East, you would follow these steps.

1. Open the Advanced Search on the Lesson Builder community page.

2. Select "High School" in the "Grade Level" drop down menu.

3. Select "Conflict" in the "Tag" drop down menu.

4. Select "Middle East" in the "Region" drop down menu.

5. The related lessons will appear in the "Most Recent" section in chronological order.

6. Another option would be to select "On War and Peace" in the "Issue" drop down menu.
