As protests swarm Egypt, Egyptians abroad are proclaiming solidarity with the anti-government sentiment. In front of the White House in Washington, some 200 people gathered to call upon President Barack Obama to support the plight of the Egyptian people. However, many foreign policy experts have noted that Mubarak is a critical Middle East ally of the United States. Currently, civil unrest pervades Egypt.
