Pulitzer Center-Supported Project on Venezuela Nominated for Emmy

A Pulitzer Center-supported project is nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Continuing Coverage of a News Story in a Newscast.

The series by PBS NewsHour, Inside Venezuela, by Marcia Biggs and Frank Carlson, explores the power struggle between Venezuela's opposition and President Nicolas Maduro. Biggs and Carlson include stories of members of Venezuela's opposition, everyday Venezuelans, and those who lost loved ones in the extrajudicial killings of protesters.
