Stephanie Hanes, co-writer of the Pulitzer Center-supported project The Climate Generation: Born Into Crisis, Building Solutions, published in The Christian Science Monitor, will visit Huston-Tillotson University on April 22, 2024. Hanes traveled to Montana, Barbados, and Portugal to report on young people leveraging universal children’s rights enshrined in 1989 to compel solutions to the climate crisis.

Hanes will guest lecture in sociology professor Michael Hirsch’s class on environmental sociology. She will also meet with students.
