In honor of FotoWeek DC 2013, join the Pulitzer Center on Tuesday, November 5 as we host three grantee photojournalists - Tomas van Houtryve, Louie Palu and Greg Constantine - to discuss the border-related issues they cover and why they focus on under-reported stories around the globe.

Van Houtryve's project, "Borderland: In the Shadow of North Korea" examines the virtually impenetrable and mysterious North Korea from the borders that surround it. Palu uses his camera to look at the U.S.–Mexico border and tenuous relations on both sides in his project, "Drawing the Line: The U.S.-Mexico Border." Van Houtryve and Palu's work will be displayed at the FotoNoma space form November 2 to November 10. Constantine's work documenting Burma's Rohingya – a Muslim minority in Burma long considered among the world's most persecuted peoples - will be projected each evening from November 4 to 8 on the Holocaust Museum's exterior walls on 15th Street SW. He'll also be featured on a panel Monday evening to open the exhibition.

Don't miss this chance to hear all three photojournalists in one place discussing their work. This event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is requested to [email protected]. Specify in subject line: "Nov 5 talks @ pulitzer." Light reception at 5:30 pm followed by remarks at 6 pm.
