Emily Hayes

Emily Hayes is a graduate student at American University, studying international journalism and public affairs. Her research focuses on rural depopulation and economic migration in Europe and Japan. She's currently working as a staff writer for a publication in Colorado, called The Durango Herald, covering issues like agriculture, public lands, environment and energy.
