Faydren Battle

Faydren Battle is a veteran educator certified in Gifted, Special and general education. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Moreover, she brings a wealth of knowledge from external leadership positions. As a Dekalb County School District's Community Empowerment, Innovation and Partnerships Fellowship she uses objective data to meet the unique needs of families and foster collaboration with community stakeholders. She also implements Vocal Justice in the classroom to  empower undervalued Black and Brown youth to become socially conscious leaders by expressing their perspectives on school and community related issues. She has combined her experience and expertise into The Student Success Coach, whose mission is to drive post-secondary success through college and career readiness, cultural empowerment and life skills instruction. In her personal time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
