Freddie Clayton

Freddie Clayton is a climate and environment journalist based in Valencia, Spain.
He is a member of the Oxford Climate Journalist Network at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, and he has covered the climate crisis in the United States, Namibia, and Malawi. He has also worked closely with the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism since 2018, reporting on national lottery scandals, water reclamation, and Namibia's sanitation crisis.
His writing has been published in The Economist, New Lines Magazine, Yale E360, Truthout, and Americas Quarterly.
Clayton also works as a sports writer, and is a regular contributor to Eurosport UK.
