Hana Carey

PULITZER CENTER ALUM

Hana's passion for education and outreach brought her to the Pulitzer Center in 2018. Previously, she taught middle and high school history for five years in Washington, D.C.; her courses focused on world history, contemporary social movements, global issues, U.S. civics, and art history. In addition to teaching, Hana worked in admissions and was a leader in equity and inclusion work within her school community. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Art History from the College of the Holy Cross. In 2017, she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with an M.A. in Museum Studies with a specific focus on museum education.
