Jesus Villalba

Jesus Villalba is a Bronx-based film maker pursuing a degree in Digital Filmmaking at Westchester Community College. Jesus has more than 10 years experience working on community-lead media for social justice. He worked as a video producer and media educator at Global Action Project, a youth led organization that produced short film narratives and documentaries for social justice. In recent years, Jesus had the opportunity to work as research assistant and camera operator for Decade of Fire, a documentary that investigates the structural policies that lead to a devastating decade of urban neglect in the South Bronx in the 70's.
