Meta Krese
GRANTEE
Meta Krese is a Slovenian journalist and photographer whose work has appeared in newspapers, magazines and books. She was also editor of Fotografija, magazine for Slovenian photographers for 10 years.
As a journalist, she has worked with humanitarian organizations such us Red Cross Slovenia, International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victim Assistance and ISOP—Innovative Sozialprojekte.
She now teaches photojournalism at the University of Ljubljana and at VIST (Higher school of applied sciences) in Ljubljana.
In 2006 she received the award for the outstanding journalism from the Slovene Association of Journalists. She was the winner of the European journalism prize "Writing for CEE 2011."
