Nadia Shira Cohen

After she received her first camera at age 15, Nadia Shira Cohen began exploring and documenting the world around her. She continued to pursue her passion for photography at the University of Vermont, with a semester abroad at the SACI school in Florence, Italy. She started her professional career in New York City, working as a independent photographer for the Associated Press. She moved to Sipa Press in New York and then went on to work at the renowned photo agency VII. In the summer of 2007, Nadia fulfilled her dream of moving to Rome, where she continues to use her camera to tell the stories of peoples lives.
