Rosa Clara Salazar

Rosa Clara Salazar lives in Laredo, Texas and teaches Advanced World Geography and AP Human Geography at United High School. She is originally from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and has been teaching for 23 years. She has been awarded two Fulbright scholarships to China and Siberia and is a National Endowment for the Humanities fellow. Her passion for global education has earned her several research grants to travel to India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Morocco, Jordan, and the Maldives. She is the proud mom of 19 year old twin girls, Regina and Miranda, and 15 year old, Maria. When she has free time, she loves to read and cook.
