Shilu Manandhar

Shilu Manandhar, based in Kathmandu, Nepal, began her journalism career in 2009, reporting for national magazines in 2009. She left those publications in 2012 to work for Global Press Journal, where she reports and writes news stories that she believes can lead to social change. Manandhar's love for writing began when she was a child living in a convent boarding school, where she spent many hours crafting short stories and essays.
