An immigrant from North Korea, Nevia No runs Bodhitree Farm, a small farm in New Jersey, only two hours outside New York City. Nevia's vegetables supply some of the city's best chefs.

Published with The New Yorker, Seasons, a documentary produced by 2022 Columbia University Reporting Fellows Gabriella Canal and Michael Fearon, introduces us to Nevia, an ambitious farmer, musician, and dancer. She's also a mother—with a deep desire to pass along her farm to her daughter. The film is beautifully shot, delving into family relationships and business challenges. It is a story of resilience and community.
