Soledad Barruti is a journalist and writer.

She is the author of the books Mal comidos, cómo la industria alimentaria argentina nos está matando (Editorial Planeta, 2013) and Mala Leche (Editorial Planeta, 2018), which have been published in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, and Peru.

She works in radio and television programs, as well as in printed media such as La Nación newspaper, The New York Times, Gatopardo, and Anfibia. She is the creator and director of the Latin American journalism network on food and territories, Bocado.

Barruti is also a professional journalism speaker at forums, other events, and national and international universities.
