Abdullah Afedzi

Abdullah Afedzi is an award-winning ocean and environment journalist with over a decade of journalism experience. Afedzi has extensively written on the ocean, fisheries, and the environment. He is a founding member of Journalists for Responsible Fisheries and Environment and a member of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
Afedzi has been training environmental journalists since 2017. He has also been involved in working with community fisherfolks in Ghana to lead campaigns against IUU fishing practices. Afedzi is an alumni of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network and is currently launching a climate action journalism network in Ghana.
