Vo Kieu Bao Uyen is a freelance journalist, born and raised in Vietnam.
Vo Kieu is an award-winning journalist, delving into the overlooked environmental and human tolls behind Vietnam’s recent economic leap.
Her works were published in Mekong Eye, Mekong Review, Rappler, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and others. She has previously received reporting grants and fellowship from Internews' Earth Journalism Network, SEI Asia Media Grant.
Besides environmental issues, she is wrapped up in gender, labour and migration.
In her spare time, she loves to go travelling or to go goblin mode to immerse in fiction, Korean and Hong Kong movies and documentary films about aquatic animals.
