Christelle Gérand is a French journalist based in Ethiopia since 2017. She reports on the political situation of the country, including the diverse conflicts, as well as social, health and environmental issues in one of the poorest countries in the world. She also travels extensively all over the continent. She mostly writes in-depth long-form articles in the most renowned French media. She was previously based in the United States.
