Jeneen Interlandi

Jeneen Interlandi is a New York City-based journalist who writes about health, science and the environment. She spent four years as a staff writer at Newsweek. Her more recent work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Scientific American and Smithsonian, among others. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Rutgers University and dual master's degrees, in environmental science and journalism, both from Columbia University. She was a 2009 Kaiser Fellow, for which she reported on XDR-TB in Asia and Europe, and a 2013 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, where she studied global health and the history of medicine.
