Meghan McDonough

Meghan McDonough is a filmmaker and journalist focused on climate solutions and gender equity.
A Question of Sex, her documentary series for Scientific American, was nominated for the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards, and her documentary short Invisible Monsters and Tomato Soup was featured in The New Yorker and screened in Oscar-qualifying festivals.
McDonough received her bachelor's in film and media studies from Amherst College and was selected for the Atlantic Media Editorial Fellowship before she was promoted to staff video journalist at Quartz.
Her freelance work has appeared on NBC, FiveThirtyEight, Atlas Obscura, and in The Washington Post, The Guardian, and more.
McDonough also speaks Spanish.
