Michael Watkins will be a panelist at the "After Lockdown: Life for the Formerly Incarcerated" Town Hall. Watkins was formerly incarcerated and will discuss the hurdles that he and others faced upon release from North Carolina jails and prisons.
The virtual town hall, set for Thursday, November 4, 2021, will discuss the depth of racial bias against formerly incarcerated adults who struggle to reintegrate into society.
