Anne Whiting
POST-GRAD REPORTING FELLOW
Pulitzer Center Grantee Anne Whiting received an MA in Arts & Culture Journalism from Columbia University, where her thesis explored the waste stream of secondhand clothing and highlighted promising innovations in textile upcycling and recycling. She has studied Fashion Policy under Elizabeth Cline, is an active member of the NYC Fair Trade Coalition and Sustainable Fashion Center, and was the 2020 NYC Dept. of Sanitation ReFashion Week Upcycling Designer of the Year.
