Taja Mazaj
REPORTING FELLOW
Taja Mazaj is an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania studying political science and English. For her Reporting Fellowship, she traveled to Gujarat, India, to report on the artistic traditions of Kutch’s craftswomen. On campus, she is involved in the campus newspaper and political organizing, and is particularly interested in issues of labor rights and community justice. As a creative writer, musician, and artist, she is passionate about storytelling and hopes to pursue a career in journalism.
