Thalíe Ponce

GRANTEE

Thalíe Ponce is founder and director of Indómita Media. She is an Ecuadorian reporter and editor with more than 12 years of experience and has worked at different local media outlets such as Vistazo, El Comercio, Expreso, and Primicias. 

Ponce is a fellow and grantee from the International Center for Journalists (2019); an IWMF fellow and grantee (2021); and a fellow from UN's Reham-Al Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship. She has won different Journalism Prizes, such as the Jorge Mantilla Ortega Prize (2018) and the Pfizer Clúster Andino Journalism Prize in Health and Science (2022).
