Zambia: Solution to Climate Change

Country:

Author:

Climate change is described as a change in the average conditions—such as temperature and rainfall—in a region over a period of time. The Earth’s surface is warming, and many of the warmest years have happened in the past 20 years.

Zambia is also experiencing record temperatures.

For this reason, Zambia’s republican president Hakainde Hichilema has taken the issue of climate change seriously as it greatly affects the youth and women in the country and increases poverty levels if no mitigations are put in place.
